Priyanka Kumar received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2018. She has completed clinical internships in various settings, working with different populations; pediatric, adult and geriatric populations with musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardio-respiratory conditions. She is passionate about working with individuals to help manage their pain and attain their rehabilitation goals; with a balanced focus on hands-on treatment and exercise programs.
Prior to studying Physiotherapy, Priyanka attended the University of Toronto where she received her Bachelor of Kinesiology with Honours. As a new graduate, she is eager and interested in taking a variety of postgraduate courses, such as soft tissue release, Graston technique, acupuncture, etc. She has completed her Level 1 Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy course and hopes to further develop and obtain higher levels in the future.
Outside from physiotherapy, Priyanka enjoys her time playing volleyball, running, traveling the world and is a food enthusiast. She practices what she preaches, and leads a very healthy and active lifestyle. Priyanka looks forward to working with her patients at physiotherapy on wheels.
