Twinkle is a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists Ontario. Twinkle completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Brighton in the United Kingdom and has done her BSc with specialized honours in Kinesiology & Health Sciences from York University. She has extensive experience working in both acute inpatient and private practice Orthopaedics.
Twinkle’s treatment approach involves a combination of manual therapy (hands-on) techniques, active rehab, and exercise, and using appropriate adjuncts to treatment including active manual releases, k-taping, and soft tissue release. Twinkle’s main aim is not to just treat the patient’s pain but to be a part of their overall health journey. She has vast experience working with a wide range of populations in a variety of settings including low back injuries, arthritis, post-operative surgeries, and neurological conditions to name a few.
She is always leveling up her skills through continuing education courses and wants to ensure her patients are receiving the most up-to-date evidence-based and effective interventions. Twinkle is currently taking advanced postgraduate level training in assessing and treating pelvic floor, and is devoted to taking a holistic view to get to the root cause of the issue.
In her free time, Twinkle likes to strength train at the gym, paint, try new restaurants, play badminton, swim, and watch movies! She also has a passion for traveling the world and spending quality time with her friends and family.
