Prior to opening Physiotherapy On Wheels in 2003, Alan was a three-time Canadian Olympic gymnast, (1988, 1992, and 1996) a double gold medalist at the Commonwealth Games (1990 and 1994) and Canadian National Gymnastics Champion (1993). After obtaining both his Kinesiology (1996) and Health Sciences degree in Physiotherapy (1998) from McMaster University, Alan completed advanced manual therapy courses and is also certified in acupuncture (CAFCI) and treating post-concussion syndromes. Additionally, he has been certified in neurodevelopmental treatment (C/NDT) where he can help patients with various neurological impairments such as strokes, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and various dystrophies. In his spare time, Alan enjoys golfing, traveling, and fishing.
